| Outline | We will have a lunch time seminar, where Mr. Akihito Saito, a graduate student, is presenting his research on environmental politics in EU and ASEAN, which would be followed by Profesor Heubner’s comments and his own presentation: Human-made climate change has become a threatening reality that already today causes significant economic and social costs. The required path change towards a model of a low carbon emission economy, however, seems to be difficult to achieve. The seminar will report on a large comparative international project that uses a variety of cases to understand the difficulties of transforming locked-in economic models. |
