KIMURA Rampei, PENG Linyu and ZUFALL Frederike presented their joint research at the 18th International Conference of AI and Law (ICAIL) in Sao Paulo, Brazil in June 2021. KIMURA is currently an appointed Associate Professor at WIAS. PENG and ZUFALL were both Assistant Professors (currently: Adjunct Researchers) at WIAS.
They developed a simple mathematical model for the legal concept of balancing of interests – bringing together social and natural sciences.
