主 旨 / Outline
“The effect of higher-order risk preferences on altruistic financial choices”
ユニセフのマンスリーサポートプログラムへの参加は、前もって不幸な事態を避けるために行うため、不確実性下の利他的な行為である。また、保険への加入も、知らない人と状態依存リスクをシェアする行為であり、保険料を受け取らない時は結果的に利他的な行為となる。いずれも、所得には変動リスクがあるが、固定の支払いがあるため、3次、4次などの高階のリスク選好が意思決定に関係する可能性がある。
本研究では、実験により、不確実性下での利他的な意思決定をくじを利用して観察することで、モデル構築のためのファクトファインディングを行った試みである。
