主 旨 / Outline
In this talk Bruno Kaufmann, Global Democracy Correspondent for the Swiss Broadcasting Company and Co-President of the Global Forum on Modern Direct Democracy will introduce the concept of Modern Direct Democracy, share insights into the Global Challenges and discuss Japanese Opportunities of active citizenship and participatory democracy. Bruno Kaufman has worked as a journalist, researcher, and democracy supporter since the mid-1980s as the author of many publications, including the Japanese edition of the Global Passport to Modern Direct Democracy. He will also co-chair the 2019 Global Forum to take place in Taichung/Taiwan on October 2-5 this year.
