WIAS Top Runners’ Lecture Collection:
“Primordial black holes and cosmology” (December 11)
講演者 / Speaker
KOHRI, Kazunori (Associate Professor, High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK))
SUYAMA, Teruaki (Associate Professor, Tokyo Institute of Technology)
日 時 / Date & Time
Tuesday, 11 December 2018, 14:00~17:30
会 場 / Venue
Room 409 on the 4th floor, Building #61, Nishi-Waseda Campus, Waseda University
主 旨 / Outline
Primordial black holes are produced by gravitational collapse of high density fluctuations in the early universe. The discovery of gravitational waves originated from a pair of merging black holes by LIGO implies that we have acquired a novel and independent tool to “view” our Universe, and we expect that this new tool will drastically advance our understanding of primordial black holes. In this event, two speakers are invited to give talks on recent developments in the understanding of primordial black holes.
