本研究では、銀行中心の経済システムをとる国における企業の現金保有と銀行の健全性の関係を検証した。 資金調達における銀行への依存度が高い企業は、銀行の健全性が悪化した際には、現金保有を積み増すことが明らかとなった。 また、この積み増された現金は、企業の過少投資問題を緩和する効果を持ち、市場からも高く評価されることなどが明らかとなった。 |
