Research Topic
Global Organizations and International Large-Scale Assessments in Developing Countries
The purpose of this research project is to document the promises and pitfalls that low-income countries face as they engage with the international organizations to develop, implement, and learn from international large-scale assessments of education. The ultimate goal is to produce knowledge that can inform the approaches of international organizations and the decisions made by developing countries in the future when it comes to whether or not to engage with such assessments and, if so, how.
