”Carbon Pricing in Japan” (Springer), co-written and co-edited by ARIMURA Toshihide (Director, WIAS) and MATSUMOTO Shigeru (Professor, Department of Economics, College of Economics, Aoyama Gakuin University) won SEEPS Commentary Award 2021.
This award is given to authors for a publication (book, leaflet and paper) to make signal contributions in promotion of public awareness by the Society for Environmental Economics and Policy Studies (SEEPS).
The book received a high evaluation as it is the first comprehensive book on Japan’s carbon pricing policies, and having been published in English, it is beneficial for various readers such as researchers, government officials and general public.
