「近現代史研究とフィールドワーク─内モンゴルにおける調査経験から─」
同時代の社会そのものを分析対象とする文化人類学や社会学とは異なり、史料に基づく過去の再構築を主眼とする歴史学にとって，フィールドワークはどのような意義をもちうるか。ジャーナリストとしての経験を活かしてこの普遍的な課題に取り組み、独自の方法を築き上げてきた講演者が、フィールドワークと文献史料の有機的な結合を通じて見えてくる新しい内モンゴル近現代史像を語る。
