主 旨 / Outline
This seminar will discuss the popular use of stated preference elicitation methods in valuation of various goods and product attributes. It will then present the issue of hypothetical bias that has been found in many stated preference studies and the importance of this issue in coming up with more accurate valuation or willingness to pay estimates for various goods/attributes. The different methods that can potentially mitigate or at least reduce hypothetical bias in stated preference will then be discussed.
