WIAS Symposium:
“Transcendental Philosophy – 超越論哲学”(Mar. 28 -29)
Abstract
This symposium brings together scholars to explore the legacy and contemporary relevance of transcendental philosophy—from its origins in Kant’s critical project to its diverse developments in phenomenology, analytic philosophy, and post-metaphysical thought. Participants will examine how transcendental inquiry continues to shape debates on subjectivity, cognition, normativity, and the conditions of possibility for experience and knowledge.
We specifically invite experts from China and Japan to facilitate communications between the two countries. Where possible, we will also invite researchers from other parts of Asia, such as Taiwan, Korea, and Singapore, etc.
