WIAS Visiting Researcher Special Lecture:
Professor YANG, Ziming “Green chemistry toward carbon neutrality” (6/6)
Outline
In this lecture, I will introduce the principles of green chemistry and how it would be used to contribute
to carbon neutrality. Carbon neutrality and green chemistry are bridged together because they both
aim to alleviate environmental problems caused by humane activities. This seminar will provide an
overview of the potential roles of green chemistry in achieving carbon neutrality, such as minimizing
and recycling wastes, utilizing renewable resources, increasing yields and selectivity, and developing
sustainable materials and green chemical approaches.
