Outline

The application of AI technology is a rapidly developing field, with many exciting prospects for its use. For instance, the emergence of ChatGPT represents an innovation in the realm of AI applications, triggering widespread and intense responses globally. Currently, many universities in the United States are offering courses and programs related to AI.
At this Japan-U.S. International Exchange between Waseda University and the University of Texas at Austin, we will focus on the topic of Practical Applications and Education of AI Technologies, along with the potential issues that may arise in this process for forward-looking discussions. We will explore the exciting intersections between our respective research areas and AI. Through presentations, roundtable forums, and student exchanges, our goal is to promote collaboration and communication between research and education in this field across the two universities.
