In 2018, around 500 Yemeni immigrants and refugees migrated to Jeju Island, South Korea. What led them to choose Jeju Island as their destination, and what are their current living conditions like? La Yeonu, originally from Syria and currently working as a project manager and Arabic interpreter for refugees at the Naomi Center, will provide insights into their experiences.
