On behalf of the Qatar Chair in Waseda University and the Japanese Institute of Middle Eastern Economies-Institute of Energy Economics in Japan (JIME-IEEJ), we are pleased to anounce about the upcoming Qatar Chair Distinguished Speaker Lecture on “Development, Growth and Policy Reform in the Middle East”.
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Tarik Yousef, the Director of The Middle East Council on Global Affairs (Doha), and moderated by Prof. Shuji Hosaka, the Director of JIME-IEEJ, to be followed by a Q&A session.
The lecture aims to provide insightful analysis on recent economic developments, growth prospects, and policy reforms in the Middle East, and their implications for the region’s integration into the global economy. Dr. Yousef, a renowned expert in the field of Middle Eastern economics, will share his extensive knowledge and experience on the subject.
The lecture will be held in Diamond room, Keidanren Kaikan, 1-3-2, Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-8188 from 10 am – 12 pm on the 1st of March, 2023.
