We are delighted to invite you to the inauguration of the Chair of the State of Qatar in Islamic Area Studies at Waseda University, which will be held on 31st May 2021 (from 2:00-5:40 pm Japan time, 8:00-11:40 am Qatar time). Due to the current pandemic the event will be held virtually. The formal session (2:00-3:00 pm Japan time, 8:00-9:00 am Qatar time) will consist of speeches from officials from Qatar and Japan as well as the project team of the Chair of the State of Qatar.
