Medical Examination and Treatment Room (Internal Medicines, Psychosomatic Medicines)

We offer consultations with internal medicine and psychosomatic physicians. (appointments required)

In our Internal Medicine department, general practitioners and specialists conduct consultations and carry out necessary tests.
Should further diagnostic tests be required, we will refer you to nearby medical facilities, general hospitals or university hospitals.
In our Psychosomatic Medicine department, we treat patients experiencing physical symptoms such as nausea, headaches or diarrhea caused by psychological factors.
※Consultations at the Psychosomatic Medicine Department are conducted in Japanese

We also provide first aid and emergency treatment for injuries or illness sustained on campus. Where necessary, we will direct you to the appropriate medical facility.

 For Patients Visiting the Internal Medicine Department
 First Aid, Emergency Treatment

In our Internal Medicine department, general practitioners and specialists conduct consultations and carry out necessary tests. If your health check-up indicates that further tests are required, you can also see a doctor. Please bring your health check-up results with you to your appointment.
Should further diagnostic tests be required, we will refer you to nearby medical facilities, general hospitals or university hospitals.

【Types of tests available】
Blood tests, Urine tests, Electrocardiograms (at rest and 24-hour), X-rays (chest and abdomen), and Ultrasound scans (abdomen, heart and thyroid), etc.

We provide first aid for injuries and illnesses on campus.
9:00-17:00 (Mon-Sat)

※The time available for first aid will vary during holidays.
※From 5pm onwards on Mon to Fri, enquiries will be handled at the Waseda branch.
