Global Leadership Fellows Program (GLFP)グローバル・リーダーシップ・フェローズ・プログラム

米国協定大学からの留学生と一緒に「グローバル・リーダーシップ・フェローズ・フォーラム」と「日米共同ゼミ」を履修します。

Waseda students and students from the U.S. partner universities will be enrolled in Global Leadership Fellows Forum and the U.S.-Japan Zemi.

プログラムの趣旨である、グローバルな視点、学際的思考性、そして多様なリーダーシップを涵養する授業です。文化的・社会的背景ならび専門分野が異なる学生が一緒に学び、協働することで、グローバル社会におけるリーダーシップのあり方、学際的思考性の意味、異分野とのコミュニケーションなどを実践的に学ぶ機会となります。1年間を通して、自分たちが選んだグローバルな課題について活発な議論を行い、関心のあるテーマについて共同研究を行い、成果発表として国内外の参加者の前で報告会を行います。（必修）

また、1年間の授業の中で、定期的に様々な分野で活躍する方々を招聘し、それぞれのリーダシップ論を講演してもらい、交流することで、多様なリーダーシップのあり方、キャリアパスを考えてもらいます。

This course is designed to cultivate the core principles of the Program: a global perspective, interdisciplinary modes of thinking, and diverse forms of leadership. By bringing together students from varied cultural and social backgrounds as well as different academic disciplines, the course provides a collaborative learning environment in which participants engage in sustained dialogue and joint inquiry.

Through this process, students gain practical insight into the nature of leadership in a global society, the significance of interdisciplinary thinking, and the skills required for meaningful communication across fields of expertise.

Over the course of a full academic year, students actively debate a global issue of their own choosing, undertake collaborative research on selected themes of shared interest, and present the outcomes of their work at a final symposium attended by participants from Japan and abroad.（Mandatory）

In addition, throughout the year, distinguished professionals and leaders from diverse sectors are invited to deliver lectures on their respective approaches to leadership and to engage in dialogue with students. These interactions provide valuable opportunities for participants to reflect on varied models of leadership and to consider their own potential career paths within a global context.

GLFPの学生は、特定の学問分野（社会科学分野）のゼミを履修し、文献課題に関するディスカッション、リサーチ・プロジェクトを通じて、ゼミのテーマとなる学問への理解を深めていきます。ゼミにおける学びを自らの専門分野にも活かすこともできます。 （必修）

Waseda and U.S. Fellows will be enrolled in zemi, or Japanese-style seminars in a specific discipline in Social Science under a close supervision by professors. Through a close reading of literatures in the discipline and discussion, and research papers, they will deepen their understanding of the themes in an academic discipline to strengthen their academic study. (mandatory)
