初めての日米合同授業の始まりです・・・！
The first Japanese-US class has now begun!

5期生のボンディングキャンプでは、軽井沢へ。
自然いっぱいの環境の中、充実した2日間を過ごしました。
オリエンテーションでは、学生が考えたゲームでアイスブレキング。
The 5th cohort's bonding camp was held in Karuizawa.
Students spent fulfilling two days in a place full of nature.
During the orientation, students broke the ice with a game they proposed themselves.

カーリングに挑戦。
チームに分かれて対戦し、絶好のチームビルディングの機会となりました！
Students tried curling.
They played matches in teams, and it was a great opportunity for team-building!

6期生のボンディングキャンプでは、伊香保へ。
神社参拝やうどん作り体験など、来日直後のUS学生もすっかり日本文化に溶け込みました。河鹿橋にて、記念撮影。
The 6th cohort went to Ikaho for the bonding camp.
US students, who had just arrived in Japan, immersed themselves with Japanese culture through such experiences as worshiping at a shrine and making Udon. This group photo was taken at Kajika Bridge.

赴きある石段の伊香保の街を散策。
早大生の解説のもと、さまざまな日本食に挑戦中・・！
Students walked around Ikaho town, known for the charming stone steps.
They tried various Japanese food with Waseda student's expository comments!

5期生の成果発表会です。

プログラムの集大成である発表ともあって、皆さん真剣な面持ちです。
Students look serious because this presentation is their compilation of the program.

5期生の成果発表会は、大隈講堂で行いました。

6期生のフィールドトリップでは、2月に大分県別府を訪れました。
今回のハイライトは、立命館アジア太平洋大学（APU）での研究発表会。
秋学期のGLFPフォーラムの授業で行ってきた、個々人の研究テーマについて発表を行い、多くのAPU生が参加してくれました。
The 6th Cohort visited Beppu, Oita in February for their field trip.
The highlight was a research presentation at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU).
Each student presented his/her research they had conducted in classes of the GLFP Forum in fall semester. Many APU students also participated.

緊張しながらも堂々とした発表が続き、APU学生からも鋭い質疑が飛ぶなど、活気のある時間でした。
Students' nervous, but confident presentations drew critical questions from APU students, and the whole session was vibrant.

別府名物の地獄めぐりを体験！
事前に担当を割り振られた早大生が別府の歴史や、各地獄池の由来など調べてきた内容を他メンバーに説明し、理解を深めました。
Students experienced “Hell Tour,” a famous tour in Beppu!
Previously assigned Waseda students had done a research about the history of Beppu and each Hell Pond's origin, and explained about them to other members so that they could deepen their understanding.

5期生のフィールドトリップでは、広島を訪れ、平和学習を行いました。

The 5th cohort visited Hiroshima for their field trip and engaged in peace studies.
The photo was taken when students visited the UNITAR Hiroshima Office.

当日は、メンバー同士で付け合ったニックネームを書いたたすきを着けました。
共に苦楽を乗り越えてきた仲間たち、お互いの性格もよくわかる・・・！？
On the graduation day, students put sashes with their nicknames on each other.
Having gone through joyful and tough times together, they seem to know each other's characters well?
