In April 2021, Waseda University formulated the General Employer Action Plan based on the Acts on the Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children and on the Promotion of Women’s Participation and Career Advancement in the Workplace.

^{Note: The purpose of the Act on the Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children is “to create a nurturing environment for next-generation children,” and the purpose of the Act on the Promotion of Women’s Participation and Career Advancement in the Workplace is “to prepare a work environment for women so that they can demonstrate their abilities adequately and become successful during their careers.”}
