The Institute conducts three research activities in the field of legal practice. The first is the development of legal theory, the second is the reform of legal practice, and the third is the development of educational methods for law students. While attempts to “bridge theory and practice” have continued in the past, the methodology of clinical legal education seeks to clarify the baseline of theory and practice that should be handed down to the next generation by adding the activity of education in the interrelationship between theory and practice and to explore what should be done to improve and reform the current situation to be worked on together with the next generation. The Institute seeks to identify what is the baseline of theory and practice that should be passed on to the next generation and what should be done to improve and reform the current situation to be worked on with the next generation.
