【Introduction of ERIA】
Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) is an international organization based in Jakarta, Indonesia that conducts in-depth research on issues facing the people and governments of ASEAN and East Asia.
ERIA works closely with the ASEAN secretariat and research institutes from across East Asia and beyond to provide innovative and analytical research and policy recommendations. Our projects are organized under three research pillars: Deeping Economic Integration, Narrowing Development Gaps, and Achieving Sustainable Development.
Studies of ERIA cover wide range of policy areas, such as trade and investment, SMEs, infrastructure, connectivity, environment, energy, and digital issues.
【Main Duties and Responsibilities】
・Conduct literature searches and reviews on specified topics as requested
・Collect and organize data and provide statistical analysis as requested
・Organize official meetings/workshops and take minutes
・Assist in supporting related work which includes writing and/or editing reports, policy briefs, and official documents
・Coordinate meetings with the ASEC and ASEAN Governments
・Conduct other relevant duties as may be assigned

| Type of Contract: | Unpaid Intern |
| Expenses: | It is the responsibility of the intern to pay all expenses including transportation, accommodation, travel insurance, visa application fee, living expenses. |
| Language: | Excellent drafting skills in English and a proven ability to organize and to clearly summarize complex material (preferably TOEFL iBT Score: 92 or higher, or IELT Score: 6.5 or higher) |
| Education: | Waseda graduate students in at least their first year of a master’s program or currently pursuing a PhD |
| Scholarship: | International Organizations Internship Program Scholarship” by Waseda* (500,000JPY/intern)*Sucreening process will be required |
