2017年5月30日、国際ウエイトリフティング連盟で選挙が行われ、コーチング・研究委員会メンバーにスポーツ科学学術院の岡田純一教授が選出されました．
The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) announced a list of all the elected officials of Executive Board and Committees 2017-2021 on May 30, 2017. Prof. Junichi Okada was elected as a member of IWF Coaching and Research Committee.
