早稲田大学政治経済学術院講師（2026年4月着任）。コロラド大学ボルダー校にて経済学博士号取得後、北京大学経済学院で助教授を務める。マクロ経済学・金融政策・開発経済を専門とし、中国と日本を主な研究対象とする。ある状況下で成長を促す制度や政策が、条件の変化とともにいかに脆弱性や停滞を生み出すかという問いを研究の軸としている。日本語と中国語に堪能。
I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University, joining in April 2026. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder and previously served as an Assistant Professor at the School of Economics, Peking University. I work on macroeconomics, monetary policy, and economic development, focusing on China and Japan. A central theme of my research is how institutions and policy that promote growth under one set of conditions can generate fragility as those conditions evolve. I am fluent in Japanese and Mandarin.
