学部卒業後、公務員を13年経験してから大学教員に転職しました。実務で人事行政に従事していたので、研究のスタートは国家公務員制度、地方公務員制度です。ただ、その後、地方政府論、公共経営論、官と民の境界線、住民の行政へのICTを使ったかかわり（シビックテック）へと関心が広がっています。
After graduating from university, I worked as a civil servant for 13 years before becoming a university professor. Having been involved in human resources administration in practice, my research began with the national civil service system and local civil service system. However, my interests have since expanded to local government theory, public management theory, the boundary between the public and private sectors, and the use of ICT in citizens’ engagement with government (civic tech).
