早稲田大学経済学研究科5年制博士課程在籍。早稲田大学政治経済学部助手、早稲田大学環境経済・経営研究所研究員。専門はエネルギー経済学、環境経済学、産業生態学。気候変動緩和政策の経済的影響を理解することを研究テーマとしている。気候変動緩和政策の設計と効果を改善することで、人為的な気候変動の課題に取り組むことを目標としている。環境の持続可能性と経済成長および社会的公平性を両立させる政策設計に貢献することを目指している。
Yayue, Xiao is a PhD student in the five-year PhD programme in Economics at Waseda University. She is also a research associate at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics and a research fellow at the Research Institute for Environmental Economics and Management, Waseda University.
Her research interests include energy economics, environmental economics and industrial ecology. Her research focuses on understanding the economic impacts of climate change mitigation policies.
Her goal is to address the challenges of human-induced climate change by improving the design and effectiveness of climate change mitigation policies. She aims to contribute to policy design that balances environmental sustainability with economic growth and social equity.
