規範的デモクラシー理論を主要な研究分野とし、特に政治的決定手続きを比較評価および正当化するための基準の体系化を研究課題としています。政治的知識や能力に関する経験的研究のほか、道徳哲学、法哲学、価値理論などにも関心があります。
My primary research field is normative democratic theory. My specific area of interest lies in developing a framework for comparative evaluation and justification of alternative political procedures, such as democracy, epistocracy, and lottocracy. In pursuit of this goal, I also explore empirical studies of political knowledge and competence. Other fields of my interest include moral philosophy, legal philosophy, and value theory, all of which inform my work in normative democratic theory and, more broadly, contemporary political philosophy.
