古代ギリシアの政治思想を研究しています。主な業績としてJustice and Reciprocity in Aristotle’s Political Philosophy (Cambridge University Press, 2015)を出版しました。代表的な論文はHistory of Political Thought (vol. 32, 2011; vol. 40, 2019), Journal of the History of Ideas (vol. 81, 2020), Polis (vol. 29, 2012; vol. 39, 2022)などに掲載されています。業績について詳しくはresearch mapを参照して下さい。 最近は古代ギリシア人の技術や科学に関する見解が、彼らの道徳観やジェンダーや教育にどのような影響を与えたのかを調査しています。
I study ancient Greek political thought. My major publication is Justice and Reciprocity in Aristotle’s Political Philosophy (Cambridge University Press, 2015). My representative papers have been published in History of Political Thought (vol. 32, 2011; vol. 40, 2019), Journal of the History of Ideas (vol. 81, 2020), and Polis (vol. 29, 2012; vol. 39, 2022), among others. Recently, I have been investigating how ancient Greek views on technology and science influenced their moral views, gender, and education.
