1998年3月早稲田大学政治経済学部卒業、2000年3月早稲田大学大学院政治学研究科修士課程卒業、2000年4月同博士後期課程入学、2002年4月～2004年3月日本学術振興会特別研究員、2004年10月～2005年7月ベルギー王国・フランデレン政府給費留学（カトリックルーヴェン大学社会政治世論調査研究所）、2006年6月英国エセックス大学政治学部Ph.D取得、 2006年4月～2007年3月 ベルギー王国カトリック新ルーヴァン大学比較政治センター・ポスドクフェロー、2007年4月～2010年3月首都大学東京（東京都立大学）社会科学研究科、ならびに、都市教養学部法学系政治学コース准教授、2010年4月～2014年3月早稲田大学政治経済学術院准教授、2014年4月より早稲田大学政治経済学術院教授、2016年4月～2018年3月ミラノ大学、ブリュッセル自由大学、ハーバード大学、モントリオール大学にて在外研究。
