2024年までマサチューセッツ工科大学（MIT）教授。2006年東京大学教養学部卒、2011年プリンストン大学政治学部Ph.D。政治・社会データ分析のための計量的・統計的手法の開発と応用に広く関心を持つ。因果推論・社会調査・実験計画のための統計的方法論に特に造詣が深い。
I was Professor of Political Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) until 2024. I graduated from the University of Tokyo in 2006 and obtained a Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University in 2011. I am broadly interested in the development and application of quantitative and statistical methods for political and social data. I am particularly familiar with statistical methodology for causal inference, surveys, and experiments.
