Noh in English? Global Japanese Studies Co-organize performance and workshops at UCLA

2 Days of Noh

Global Japanese Studies Model Unit and UCLA co-organize the performance and workshops titled “2 Days of Noh” as an event followed by the “5 Days of Kyogen” which was held in last spring under the jointly operating project called “The Tadashi Yanai Initiative for Globalizing Japanese Humanities”.

An English-language Noh play by award-winning playwright Deborah Brevoort scored for the Noh theater by Richard Emmert

Join David Crandall, Richard Emmert, Akira Matsui, Kinue Oshima, and Mikio Takemoto for a discussion of the possibilities of Noh as a global form.
