Waseda University’s efforts to promote carbon neutrality were introduced in issue nine of the QS Global Education News (QSGEN) Magazine, published by QS (Quacquarelli Symonds Limited), a UK-based company that provides services, analytics, and insight to the global higher education sector.
This magazine covers important topics related to international higher education, and its articles are selected by QS from submissions globally, so it can be said that our efforts towards realizing carbon neutrality have attracted worldwide attention and have been highly evaluated.
This is the only topic that was selected from Japan in this issue. We will continue to promote our three pillars of carbon neutrality; “Cutting-edge research,” “Human resources development,” and “Achieving carbon neutrality on campus,” aiming to be an initiative that is recognized highly around the world.
