During this lecture and research exchange, Professor Kawakami was impressed by the high percentage of female postgraduate students at KUL, as well as the positive comments and service spirit of the students. The lectures, discussions and research presentations were all very meaningful, as it gave him an opportunity to be exposed to the active research being conducted by post-doctoral and doctoral students under Professor Benedicte Vanwanseele.
