We are pleased to announce that the Center for Positive/Empirical Analysis of Political Economy will be inviting Professor Levente Littvay (Central European University) to give workshop series on “Advanced Quantitative Methods in Social Sciences” in January, 2023.
Professor Levente Littvay served as the Academic Convenors of European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) Methods Schools (2015-2021) in the past and has recently founded a new method training platform MethodNET. Having being awarded Distinguished Teaching Award (2015) and Teaching Excellence Award (2021), the countless number of students and researchers have learned data analysis methods in his classes.
Professor Littvay will give three sets of workshops in this special series, (1) ”Advanced Regression”, (2) ”Multilevel Modeling”, and (3) ”Structural Equation Modeling”, based on the courses taught in the ECPR Winter/Summer Schools and MethodNET. Normally one needs to pay fees to take these courses (e.g. 2600 USD for ICPSR summer programs, 465 GBP for ECPR Summer School, both of which are discounted rates as Faculty of Political Science and Economics being a consortium member respectively), but this workshop series is free of charge. Please do not miss this precious opportunity!
