The online course “Sports Injury Prevention” will resume on September 21, 2021 on edX, a platform which provides Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) to learners around the world.
“Sports Injury Prevention” was created by Dr. Daisuke Sugimoto (Faculty of Sport Sciences, Waseda University), who specializes in sports prevention medicine and athletic training. The course is split up into 6 lectures total.
The course was previously offered on the edX platform earlier this year, from May to July. The course saw many enroll worldwide, with learners from countries such as India, the United Kingdom, and the United States signing in to learn from Dr. Sugimoto. Last time, lectures were delivered weekly, but the course will take a self-paced approach this time, allowing learners to study freely in accordance to their own schedules. The course’s lecture videos and access to discussions are available free of charge.
