The joint workshop with IMDEA Materials was held on November 26, 2019 in Madrid, Spain. The relationship with the IMDEA Materials has been nurtured since a researcher of the institute was invited as a visiting professor to Waseda University in 2018. The researcher, Assoc. Prof. Costa, re-visited Waseda as a joint appointment faculty from September in the next year (2019), and was engaged in educational activities for the graduate program.
In the joint workshop, the researchers not only from IMDEA Materials but also from other two institutes (IMDEA Nanoscience and IMDEA Energy) participated in the workshop. From Waseda University, 5 professors joined the workshop and made presentations about their research topics. There were fruitful discussions taken place for each research presentation.
