The Faculty of Sport Sciences at Waseda University welcomed 28 visitors from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and the collaboration research team of Taiwan. The visit took place on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
At first, Professor Jun Tsuchiya, Senior Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, delivered a welcome speech to the delegation, and Prof. Toshimasa Yanai, Deputy Dean in International Affairs of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, introduced the faculty’s educational principles, curriculum, as well as other information.
Afterwards, one of the delegates introduced their members and made a presentation on their purpose of visit, which is to be connected to greater improvements on their sports sciences research through exchanging opinions and interacting with our faculties and students.
After participating in a campus tour guided by three graduate students of sport sciences from Taiwan, they visited Prof. Masaki’s laboratory and actively exchanged ideas with one another. The faculty hopes the visit will lead to further research collaborations in the future.
