On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the delegation from the Faculty of Sport Sciences visited Seoul National University to sign a new bilateral agreement with the university’s College of Education’s Department of Physical Education.

Seoul National University is a national university located in Seoul and was established in 1946. The university is ranked No. 1 in the Korean university rankings and is known as one of the three top universities in Korea: SKY (S: Seoul National University, K: Korea University, and Y: Yonsei University). Additionally, in the QS World University Rankings for the sports-related field the university ranked as high as 7th.
In November 2023, Professor Yongho Lee and Professor Wook Song, Dean of the Department of Physical Education from Seoul National University, visited the Tokorozawa campus and the faculty members and students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences. Both universities have already concluded an inter-university agreement and student exchange has been active. During the last meeting in November, the two departments agreed to strengthen their collaboration in sports science education and research, and decided to conclude a departmental agreement. The signing ceremony in February followed the meeting in November.
