”Japan strives for carbon neutrality by 2050” posted on Nature

Waseda University’s Center for Positive/Empirical Analysis of Politcal Economy (Top Global University) is pleased to announce that the article “Japan strives for carbon neutrality by 2050” has been posted in the internationally prominent scientific journal, Nature (March 9, 2022 issue), as a part of  the Nature Index Big 5 science nations. The article is a paid advertorial submitted by the Center to highlight faculty and their impactful activities.

The advertisement feature is composed of an interview with Professor Toshi Arimura, a member of the Center for Positive/Empirical Analysis of Political Economy and Professor Haruko Noguchi, a head of the Center. Professor Arimura is one of the cutting edge researchers who are leading not only the Carbon Net Zero Challenge at Waseda University but also the nation’s carbon neutrality policy.
