Professor Charles Noussair (Eller College of Management, the University of Arizona), a Joint Appointment (JA) faculty member of the Center for Positive/Empirical Analysis of Political Economy, has been elected as the next president of the Economic Science Association (ESA). The ESA is a well-known international society for experimental economics.
Professor Noussair is the editor of “Experimental Economics”, the top journal in the field, and is a leading authority on the subject. He has contributed deeply to improving the international competitiveness of our graduate students since the establishment of the TGU project. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, instead of teaching the course last year he spoke at the TGU-sponsored online lecture “Emotions and Economic Decision Making”.
Professor Noussair will be appointed President of the ESA in 2023. His term of office will be two years.
