Professor Michio Kondo of Center for Research Strategy received the Thomas A. Edison Award at the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) General Meeting held in Delhi, India.
The Thomas A. Edison Award is a highly prestigious honor bestowed upon individuals within the IEC who have held positions such as International Chairman or International Secretary, and have made significant achievements and contributions to the operation of technical committees and certification systems.
Professor Kondo received the award in high recognition of his long-standing leadership in the development and deliberation of international standards as the Chairman of the IEC Technical Committee “TC 82: Solar photovoltaic energy systems.”
