Taking over the event “Lunch Talk” in 2017, we rename it and hold a whole new “Theme Talk”.
We welcome not only those who do want to talk about something, but also those who don’t have anything to talk about and just intend to listen to what the other participants are talking. Please feel free to come to the event, but don’t forget to bring something to eat for lunch and a little bit consideration for the other participants.
If you have any questions or worry about anything to participate in the event, feel free to contact us via e-mail.
The theme is “Good/Bad Side of Japanese Culture”. What do you think are the differences between Japan and where you are from? Let’s talk!

[To: Everyone]
[Capacity: 15 seats]

[Ground Rule for Theme Talk]
1. Respect each other There are a lot of people with different backgrounds. Sexuality is just one of them.
2.What happens in the GS center, stays in the GS center Don’t tell others what you heard in the GS center like “He/She told me this!” Let’s protect everyone’s privacy.
3.You don’t need to talk about anything you don’t feel comfortable about This is a place where you can feel comfortable and reassured. Please feel free to be yourself here!
4.Don’t judge by appearance Don’t choose people’s gender or sexuality based on only their appearance.
× “She always looks like a boy.”
× “That person is what I call ‘gay’.”
× “That person looks like a boy so lets call him “Mr. ○○”
5.Feel free to leave anytime If you don’t feel comfortable, or feel like leaving, you MAY leave anytime. Nobody should not tell anybody to stay there, or doesn’t have to blame oneself on someone’s leaving.
