The Gender and Sexuality Center (the GS Center) at the Waseda University Student Diversity Center invites you to the GS Center Tour at Waseda University’s Open Campus 2025!

The GS Center Tour (No registration required)
The GS Center is a safer space and resource center established for the purpose of providing student support related to gender and sexuality, and it is the first university-owned center of all universities in Japan. All are welcome to visit the GS Center regardless of your knowledge level and experience around the diversity of SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression) or LGBTQ+ issues. Our student staff members are looking forward to taking you on a tour of the GS Center!
- Eligibility: Prospective Waseda students and their family members, advocates, legal guardians, etc.
- Dates and Times: Saturday, 2025/8/2, 9:00-16:00 and Sunday, 2025/8/3, 9:00-16:00
- Location: The GS Center at Waseda Campus, Building 10, Room 213 (Floor 2)
- Languages: availability may be limited to certain time frames
- Japanese: all day on 8/3 and 8/4
- English: all day on 8/3 and 8/4

*Visitors can play Gachapon (a vending machine that dispenses capsule toys) for free to win our original items.
*Please note that we may ask you to wait to enter the room during the busy times to prevent overcrowding.
Important Note on the Post-Event Reflection Report: The GS Center will release an event reflection report, which will include a brief summary of how the event went, and the quotes from the conversations that the visitors and staff members have had at the event. We will not release any identifying information about the individuals who participated in the tour, but if you do not want us to use your comments in the report, please let us know at any time.
