On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, we held a farewell party for GLFP 10th US students.
Four GLFP 10th Waseda students gathered at the venue, where the Prof. Rhee, Dean of the Center for International Education, and faculty of GLFP forum and seminars delivered congratulatory remarks to the students, followed by a pleasant time of chatting over light refreshments.
In the greeting from the 10th US students, we were able to learn about their memories during their approximately one-year stay in Japan, their days spent as GLFP students at Waseda, and many other memorable stories made during their time with the 10th Waseda students. The 10th Waseda students also expressed their gratitude to the two students for having met each other because they chose GLFP program at Waseda University, their words of encouragement for completing their study abroad experience, and their hopes to meet again in Japan or the U.S. someday.
We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that the bond between the GLFP community will continue.
