Given the April 2025 phased implementation fo the Amendment to the Act on Childcare and Caregiver Leave, the University has amended its support system to help caregivers balance work and childcare.
Establishment of Postnatal Leave and Shortened Working Hours Benefits to Support Childcare.
In April 2025, in accordance with the amendment of the Employment Insurance Act, we established a postnatal leave benefit and a shortened wroking hours benefit to support childcare. Benefits will be paid to those who meet the stipulated requirements, with the nature of the benefits depending on the age and childcare status of the child(ren).
