From April 2022 onwards, the University has extended its personnel division’s support systems regarding overseas/domestic relocation, childcare or nursing support, temporary leave/leave of absence, etc., that concern the spouse, children, and relatives of faculty and staff to include a faculty or staff’s partner*, partner’s children, and partner’s relatives.
*Definition of partner
A partner is recognized by the University as a person who is in a similar circumstance to that of a marriage with a faculty or staff regardless of their gender. The support systems shown below that concerns the spouse of faculty or staff can be applicable to a partner.
