On March 5, 2021, we invited Mr. Takayuki Kiyota, a graduate of the School of Letters, Arts and Sciences and the representative of Momoyama Shoji, a unit that collects stories about love interests, as a lecturer to the Work-Life Balance Design Workshop. 90 participants, including students and faculty/staff members, attended the online event.
After speaking about his career until now, such as his activities as a student, how he started a business with his friends, and becoming independent as a freelance writer, Mr. Kiyota deepened the discussion while answering questions from the audience in a dialogue with Associate Professor Noritaka Moriyama (Faculty of Letters, Arts and Sciences).
At the end, Mr. Kiyota offered a heartfelt message, saying, “There may be pressure to become employed, but I hope that knowing about an alternative lifestyle like mine can help ease the stress.”
