The IASS is established within the Faculty of Social Sciences.  Under the instructions of the IASS steering committee, the institute will be divided into 4 research divisions: “Global Issues”, “Social Design”, “Contemporary Japanese Studies” and “Integrated Social Sciences”. Under each division, members of IASS who are concurrently researchers will be organized into different research project groups.
