I feel very honored to be awarded the Autumn Prize by the Mathematical Society of Japan. During my career in Japan I have been very fortunate to receive warm encouragement and friendship from the mathematical community here.
In particular the academic environment of the Super Global Mathematics and Physics Unit has been very stimulating!
