The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) annually presents the “MEXT award for Science and Technology” to individuals who have made outstanding achievements in research and development and promotion of understanding of science and technology, with the aim of motivating those involved in science and technology and contributing to raising the level of science and technology in Japan.

I am honored to receive the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
I am deeply grateful to Waseda Top Global University Project, in particular to the Mathematics and Physics Unit, for providing an excellent teaching and research environment through special lectures, research meetings and other international activities. These international center projects are very important, so let us continue to develop them in the future.
